The Hays Quarry Advisory Committee (HQAC) will serve as a forum for communication between KBDJ and its neighbors. The committee will meet regularly to exchange information about the quarry, encourage input from each other, and seek strategies to protect the natural and economic environment of the community.

The HQAC will be advisory only—it will not assume decision-making authority—however, it is intended to involve the public as a partner to KBDJ in making business decisions that are beneficial to all parties. Meetings are open to the public.
